FAIRES is a U.S. nonprofit scientific and educational research organization founded and governed by academic researchers.
Our mission is to conduct, support, and advance research in artificial intelligence and computing, including AI safety, trustworthy AI, cybersecurity, and related interdisciplinary fields.
We bring researchers together around consequential scientific questions. We develop research programs, support collaborative teams, pursue grants, and seek to turn research findings into useful software, datasets, and educational resources.
For projects aligned with that mission, FAIRES may also provide an organizational and administrative home. This connects scientific work with the practical structures it needs to develop responsibly.
